How Do You Set Up a ARK Server?

Get your server online in 4 steps after renting your ARK server.

  1. Choose your planPick a plan from the table based on your player count and plugin/mod load. After payment, your server is delivered automatically.
  2. Install the operating systemInstall Ubuntu, Debian or Windows Server from the client panel. The ARK: Survival Evolved server runs on both platforms.
  3. Install with SteamCMDInstall SteamCMD and download the ARK: Survival Evolved Dedicated Server files (app ID 376030).
  4. Start the serverStart ShooterGameServer with the map name, SessionName and MaxPlayers parameters; open UDP ports 7777–7778 and 27015.

How quickly is my ARK server delivered?

After payment, your server is set up automatically by our system within seconds and delivered.

What hardware is used in the packages?

All packages AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processors. Depending on the package there are 6–12 CPU, 10–48 GB DDR5 RAM and 80–210 GB disk options; 99% DDoS protection, a control panel and a 10 Gbit network are standard in every package. Prices range from 600₺ (#TR1) to 2900₺ (#TR8).

Is DDoS protection included?

Yes. Advanced DDoS protection comes as standard on all of our ARK servers. RouteFence® infrastructure provides global protection through 8 POP locations and 6+ Tbps of filtering capacity, with always-on protection at Layer 4–7.

Which operating systems can I install?

You can install Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, AlmaLinux, Fedora and Windows Server. You can manage your .iso files through the ILO/KVM interface in the customer panel.

Are backups and data security provided?

A backup service is not something we offer directly. However, as part of data security our systems are backed up regularly and the necessary precautions are taken against possible data loss.

Can I install mods on my ARK server?

Yes. Add the Steam Workshop mod IDs to the ActiveMods line in GameUserSettings.ini to use the mods on your server.

Can I run other maps (Ragnarok, Valguero, etc.)?

Yes. Change the map name in the start command to run maps other than The Island. For paid DLC maps, players also need to own the DLC.

Can I run an ARK: Survival Ascended server?

Our plans are prepared for ARK: Survival Evolved. Survival Ascended needs more resources and its server files officially run on Windows; for ASA we recommend installing Windows Server and choosing a plan with 16 GB or more.
