Minecraft server tools

Tools to help you set up your server and configure your plugins. They are available to members with the customer role on our Discord server.

How do I get access?

  1. Buy a service from Light Hosting and join our Discord server.
  2. Open a support ticket on Discord to request your customer role.
  3. Open the tool you want to use and press “Sign in with Discord”.

Signing in only reads your Discord username and profile picture. Passwords, tokens and keys you enter in the test tools are not stored; they are only sent to your server to run the test.

What problems do these tools solve?

Start script generator

A Minecraft server starts with a command such as java -Xms1G -Xmx4G -jar server.jar nogui. Written by hand, the usual mistakes are allocating more memory than the machine has, a wrong jar name and a missing nogui flag; the server then either never starts or dies under the first load. The generator produces a ready .sh file for Linux or .bat for Windows from the memory and version you pick — upload it to your server and run it.

Votifier test tool

When a player votes for you on a server list, the site sends an encrypted vote packet to your server. The NuVotifier or Votifier plugin listens for it and triggers your reward plugin. When players say "I voted but got no reward", the cause is usually a closed port, a wrong public key or a plugin that was never reloaded. The tool sends a real test vote to your server and shows exactly where the chain breaks, so you can test it without waiting for a complaint.

WebSender test tool

WebSender lets your website send commands to your server; most setups that grant a rank or an item after a store purchase use this path. If the password or port is wrong, the purchase still completes but the command never reaches the server — and that can go unnoticed for a long time. The tool connects to the plugin, verifies the password and, if you want, sends a real command or in-game message to prove the setup works end to end.

Frequently asked questions

Are the tools paid?

No. They are free for Light Hosting customers; no separate plan or extra payment is required.

Are the passwords and keys I enter stored?

No. The passwords, tokens and public keys you enter for a test are not stored; they are only sent to your server to run that test.

My server is with another provider — can I still use them?

The tools connect to the IP and port you enter, so it does not matter where the server is hosted. Signing in, however, requires the customer role on our Discord server.

What should I do if a test fails?

The tool reports which step failed (connection refused, password rejected, no response and so on). Open a support ticket with that message and our team will look straight at that step.
