About this tool

How the Votifier chain works

When a player votes for you on a server list, the site sends an encrypted vote packet to your server. The NuVotifier (or Votifier) plugin listens on the port you configured, verifies the packet with the public key and triggers your reward plugin. If any of those three links is broken, the player votes but never gets the reward.

The three usual causes

Closed port: the Votifier port (8192 by default) must be reachable from outside through your firewall. Key mismatch: the public key pasted into the list site must match the one the plugin generated exactly; a line break or a missing character breaks verification. Plugin not reloaded: if the server was not restarted after a configuration change, the old settings are still in effect.

If the test passes but no reward arrives

That means the Votifier side works and the problem is in the reward plugin. Check that the reward commands run from the console, that the player name is spelled correctly, and that queueing is enabled for rewards granted while the player is offline.

What does the Votifier test verify?

The tool sends a real test vote to your server. NuVotifier v2 token authentication can report acceptance; legacy v1 public key authentication does not provide the same acknowledgement. A voting rewards plugin may reward the test player.

  1. Use the port in the Votifier configuration, not the game port.
  2. Choose token or public key authentication to match your plugin version.
  3. Check the port and firewall for connection errors, and the token or key for authentication errors.
