About this tool

What WebSender is for

WebSender lets your website send commands to your server. Most setups that automatically grant a rank or an item after a store purchase use this path. The plugin listens on a port on the server and authenticates incoming requests with the password you set.

Why it fails silently

If the password or port is wrong, the purchase still completes and the payment is taken, but the command never reaches the server. Nothing is shown to the player, so the problem usually surfaces as a customer complaint. Testing the connection after setup and after every server migration prevents this silent failure.

How to read the test result

Connection refused: the plugin is not running or the port is closed. Password rejected: the password in the configuration file differs from the one you entered. Command sent but nothing happens in game: the connection is fine; verify that the same command works from the console.

What does the WebSender test verify?

The tool checks the connection, password authentication and command or message delivery for the selected test. A successful connection from here does not guarantee that another web server has the same network access.

  1. Prepare the address, port and password from the WebSender configuration.
  2. Start with connection verification; check the effect of a command before sending it.
  3. For a refused connection check the listening port; for authentication errors check the plugin password and server console.

The guide is public. Running the tool requires Discord sign-in and the Light Hosting customer role.
